Console Experience
Mouse P.I. For Hire
“Join private investigator Jack Pepper on a guns blazing, jazz-fueled adventure in MOUSE: P.I. For Hire. MOUSE combines the charm of hand-drawn rubber hose animation inspired by the classic cartoons of the 1930’s with the adrenaline and action of an explosive first person shooter.”
What I did on the project:
My time working on Mouse P.I. For Hire was split between testing on PC platforms and console platforms.
My console experience consists of Live-Op support during the early release update patches, I mainly looked at player support tickets to find any major issues that had made it into the initial release, finding and confirming fixes for
My PC experience was done before release, providing extra QA support to the Mouse team through general destructive tests, aiming to log as many bugs as possible in the last few months before launch.
Dumb Ways To Party
“The world’s dumbest party game is here! Play as your favorite Bean, and go head-to-head with up to three other players to become the Dumbest of the Dumb. Will you use skill, sabotage or sheer dumb luck to win?”
What I did on the project:
During my time working on Dumb Ways To Party, I was often focused on certification tests and verification tests on fixed bugs.
I primarily tested on the Playstation 5 & Xbox Series X, completing certification tests for those consoles based on a live document we had detailing various requirements each console required. While not as big a focus, I did also perform tests on the switch dev kit as well, mostly opting for performance tests.
